Available Dogs

If you are interested in any of our dogs, please read some of our informtion on our Natural Rearing page. We do require homes that feed raw food and homes that do some holistic care. I do not believe in over vaccinating. So if you believe in vaccinating your dogs every year please do not contact us. I do realize we may not see eye to eye on every issue, but I do expect certain things for my dogs. All of our dogs are house broken and exposed to all different kinds of venues.  We want a home that is interested in lure coursing, racing, agility, obedience or disc dog. We love for our dogs to do it all. We like to see people who are interested in doing or trying out one or more venues with their dogs. But the most important thing is that your Whippet is a part of your family and LOVED and CARED for. Here are some of the dogs that are available at this time.

Takota

Takota is one of the puppies from our last litter. He was born November 1, 2008.  He has been neutered and is available to an approved performance home. He has shown a lot of promise towards lure coursing and straight racing.  He has also been through 14 weeks of agility class and has really enjoyed that too. Takota is a very lovable fellow, and wants nothing more then to be around you. He is a little shy when he first meets strangers, but warms up quickly with a little time and/or treats. He is about 20 3/4" tall and weights about 29lbs. Takota will really make someone a very happy whippet owner.  We are waiting for his perfect home. If you think that is could be you, please contact us. Takota has been waiting to hear from you. Takota had his first lure coursing trial this Sunday, on his Birthday. We are so proud of the little guy. He got 2nd out of 13 Open Whippets.  Takota has been placed in a wonderful wonderful home with  Debbie & Lance Parravani out of Ohio. He is living with his brother Cooper and he is so happy there. We are all looking forward to seeing this litter out on the field this year (2010). Takota has shown alot of promise on the coursing field and we have big hopes for him. Thank you so much Debbie and Lance for giving our Baby a wonderful home. We miss him dearly, but know he is getting the love and attention he deserves. Good luck with both Tokota and Cooper; we will be seeing you on the coursing field soon. Mira

We have just recently thought about placing Mira in a new forever home. We love her so much and she is such a great girl, but I am not sure she is as happy here any more. Mira feels a little out of place with 7 dogs in the house. She is a great dogs with all dogs, cats and kids.  You name it, she LOVES every one. The problem is she does not stand up for her self very well and she is really being picked on by the 4 pups and Carina(the pups momma). Mira would love to go to a home that only has a couple dogs and a lot of time to love her. She is very good in agililty and with a little more training would make an excellent obedience or rally dog. Mira was born April 15th 2004.  She is 20  3/4" tall and weighs 31lbs.  She is spayed already. We are only looking to place Mira if we find her the perfect home she deserves. She does not have to go to a performance home.  She would be totally content with retiring and being a family pet. Mira has been with us since she was 10 weeks old and this is a very hard decision to make, but I am trying to think of what is best for her. If we could find her the right place, where she would be happier than she is now, than that is what I would do for her. She has been on Raw food all her life.  It would be a requirement that the person interested in adopting her would have to feed raw too.
